Defender D is a 2011 American animated superhero comedy film produced by DJW Studios for Universal Pictures. It was directed by Damen Walker and Thor Freudenthal and stars Evan Sabara as Daniel Cage / Defender D, a young boy who is chosen to save the world from the dimensional mad scientist Dictator D.

The film was released on June 3, 2011 to critical acclaim, earning $321 million worldwide on a budget of $62 million. It was followed by Defender 2D on April 26, 2017, and a third film is currently in production.

In March 2014, Damen Walker and co-director Thor Freudenthal announced that they were working on a sequel titled Defender 2D, and that was slated for release on April 26, 2017.

On February 7, 2015, it was announced that a third film is in development.
